Is ClearName better than using Group Policy to hide the last username?

ClearName and Group Policy serve a similar purpose, but ClearName is simpler to deploy. Instead of configuring complex Group Policy settings or editing the registry manually on every machine, you just drop a single executable into a login script or Startup folder. This makes it a quick solution for environments where Group Policy may not be available or practical.
