If there are specific files or folders you never want RJL System Cleaner to touch, you can add them to the exclusion list:
- Open Settings (from the Tools menu or gear icon)
- Go to the Exclusions tab
- Click Add Folder to exclude an entire folder, or Add File to exclude a specific file
- Browse to the file or folder and select it
- Click OK to save
Excluded paths are completely ignored during scanning -- they will never appear in scan results and will never be deleted. You can remove an exclusion at any time by selecting it and clicking Remove.
This is useful if a cleaner category targets a folder that contains something you want to keep, or if you use a temporary file folder for a specific workflow.
