How do I exclude specific files or folders from cleaning in RJL...

If there are specific files or folders you never want RJL System Cleaner to touch, you can add them to the exclusion list:

  1. Open Settings (from the Tools menu or gear icon)
  2. Go to the Exclusions tab
  3. Click Add Folder to exclude an entire folder, or Add File to exclude a specific file
  4. Browse to the file or folder and select it
  5. Click OK to save

Excluded paths are completely ignored during scanning -- they will never appear in scan results and will never be deleted. You can remove an exclusion at any time by selecting it and clicking Remove.

This is useful if a cleaner category targets a folder that contains something you want to keep, or if you use a temporary file folder for a specific workflow.
