Where does RJL System Cleaner store its settings?

Settings are stored in a file called settings.ini. The location depends on the mode:

• Portable mode: In the same folder as the .exe
• Installed mode: In %APPDATA%\RJL Software\System Cleaner\

The settings file is a plain-text INI file that you can open and edit in Notepad if needed. It contains your theme preference, cleaning options, default checkboxes, exclusion list, and lifetime statistics.

If you delete settings.ini, the app will start fresh with default settings and show the first-run welcome screen again. Your cleaning history and lifetime statistics will be reset.

When you replace the .exe with a registered version, the settings file is not affected -- all your preferences are preserved.
