How does RJL System Cleaner compare to Windows Storage Sense and Disk...

Windows includes two built-in cleaning tools: Storage Sense (in Settings) and Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe, being deprecated). Here is what RJL System Cleaner offers beyond them:

Browser cleaning: Storage Sense and Disk Cleanup do not clean browser caches, cookies, history, or session data for any browser. RJL System Cleaner cleans all five major browsers with individual control over each data type.

Privacy cleaning: Windows built-in tools do not clean recent file lists, Run dialog history, search history, jump lists, or other privacy traces. RJL System Cleaner does.

Application cleaning: Windows tools do not clean cache files from VS Code, Discord, Steam, Spotify, Teams, Slack, or other third-party applications. RJL System Cleaner does.

Duplicate detection: Windows tools do not scan for duplicate files. RJL System Cleaner includes a built-in duplicate scanner.

Transparency: Storage Sense runs in the background and deletes files without showing you what it removed. Disk Cleanup shows categories but not individual files. RJL System Cleaner shows every file with a safety rating before deleting anything.

Portability: Windows tools are built into the OS and cannot be carried on a USB drive. RJL System Cleaner is fully portable.

Where Windows tools win: They require zero additional software and are guaranteed to be safe since they are made by Microsoft. Storage Sense can run on a schedule automatically. If you only need basic temp file cleanup, Windows tools may be sufficient.
