What is Fake Delete?

Fake Delete is a harmless prank program from RJL Software that simulates the deletion of all files and folders in the Windows directory (or any directory you specify via the command line). It displays a realistic Windows delete dialog showing actual file names scrolling by, but nothing is actually deleted.
