Will Fake Shutdown actually shut down my computer?

No. Despite showing a realistic shutdown dialog and a brief black screen, Fake Shutdown does not shut down, restart, sleep, or hibernate your computer. Your work, open programs, and unsaved documents are completely unaffected.
