Can I create a desktop shortcut to open or close my CD-ROM drive?
Yes. Create a Windows shortcut with the target set to the full path of OPEN_CD.EXE followed by your desired arguments. For example, set the shortcut target to C:\Path\To\OPEN_CD.EXE open to eject the tray with a double-click. You can even add a program path to launch an application at the same time.
