How does Password Prank work exactly?

When you run Password Prank, it displays a realistic-looking password entry dialog. As the victim types their password, the program ignores their keystrokes and types its own characters into the password field instead. After the victim clicks OK or presses Enter, the program displays an error message saying the password is too short. No matter how many times they try, the result is always the same.
