What makes Time Traveler such a good prank?

Time Traveler is devastatingly confusing because people trust their system clock implicitly. When the time keeps jumping around, victims check their phone, double-check the clock, look at the taskbar again -- and every time it shows something different. They will assume their CMOS battery is dead, Windows Update broke something, or their computer has a hardware problem. It creates genuine bewilderment.
