What are the Run and RunOnce registry keys?

The Windows registry contains special keys that control which programs start automatically:

  • Run - Programs listed here launch every time Windows starts.
  • RunOnce - Programs listed here launch only the next time Windows starts, then the entry is automatically removed.

WinStartup lets you manage entries in both of these keys through a simple graphical interface.
