Why is Simple Search-Replace free?
Here at RJL Software we had a task to change specific text on our website. We searched the web for a free utility that would allow us to do this. Our search came up empty and the programs we did find were old, hard to use or did not even work.
Based on the results noted above, we decided to invest the time to write our search and replace utility for internal use only. Once we developed the utility and used it we decided to release it on our website as a FREE download. That is how Simple Search-Replace was born.
