Why would I need ScrollLock?

Many modern laptops and compact keyboards do not have a dedicated Scroll Lock key. ScrollLock gives you direct control over the Scroll Lock state without hunting for a physical key -- or when your keyboard simply does not have one. Some programs also change behavior based on the Scroll Lock state, so having easy control over it is important.
