Stop Screen Saver does not seem to be working. What should I try?

If Stop Screen Saver does not appear to be preventing the screen saver, try these steps:

  • Open the Options dialog and change the keypress type to CTRL or ALT.
  • Adjust the keypress interval to a shorter duration.
  • Make sure the screen saver prevention is actually enabled (check the tray icon state).

If the issue persists, you can also try the Mouse Move utility as an alternative approach that continuously moves the mouse cursor at a set interval.
