Why does Windows not show my full product key natively?

Microsoft does not provide an easy way to view your full 25-character Windows product key once Windows is installed. The built-in slmgr /dli command only shows a partial key (last 5 characters), and digging through the registry is risky and unreliable. Windows Product Key Viewer retrieves the complete key safely and instantly without any registry editing or command-line expertise.
