How can I delay the execution or launching of a file/program?
You can use our DelayExec program to wait X seconds before running a program. This is done using the command line options of the software. It looks something like this:
delayexec.exe [filename] [delay in seconds]
The filename is the path to the file you would like to launch.
The delay is the number of seconds you want to delay before launching the file.
Example: delay.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OUTLOOK.EXE" 60
The example above would delay 60 seconds before launching Outlook.
