Does Shortcut Key Explorer work with Windows 10?
Yes! Shortcut Key Explorer works perfectly with Windows 10 and Windows 11. However, with the release of Windows 10 and Windows 11, they have dramatically changed the Start Menu and how shortcut keys are created.
To create a shortcut to a program on the new Windows 10 and Windows 11 Start Menu, you need to click the Start Menu -> All Apps -> Scroll down to the apps that have an icon that looks like a Folder -> Expand that Folder -> Right-click on the app and choose Open File Location. Once Explorer opens with the location of the shortcut, right-click on that Shortcut and choose Properties. From within here you can set the Shortcut Key hot key. Refresh Shortcut Key Explorer and your shortcuts will appear.
