Can Windows Product Key Viewer change the Windows Product Key?
The current version of Windows Product Key Viewer does not support editing the Windows Product Key. However Microsoft has posted manual instructions for changing the Windows Product Key on Windows XP.
With Windows 7 and newer you can use the functionality within Windows to change the product key yourself.
Right Click on My Computer and Select Properties.
Wait a second for windows activation details to get populated.
Click on Change Product key link after your Windows activation details are populated.
Enter New Product Key and click on next to activate your Windows
